PhiMatrix – PhiMatrix is a graphic analysis and design tool that lets you see and apply phi proportions to any image.  PhiMatrix software unveils the phi proportions that can be found in DNA, sea shells, plants, animals and human faces and even in the stock market.  It features a grid that can be locked to golden section proportions or unlocked to vary height and width while still showing phi proportions on each axis.  The grid overlays any other program you have on your computer, provides a variety of controls to analyze any image, and then lets you save your analyzed image to disk.  It can be used for educational purposes, design and layout, stock market analysis.  Applications include any design application your mind can conceive, whether laying out a canvas for painting, cropping a photo, creating marketing materials or designing anything from clothes to cars to furniture to buildings.  Designed by Gary Meisner, author and developer of this site.

Dr. Levin’s Phi Dental Grid (PhiDental) – Dr. Levin’s Phi Dental Grid is a phi-based software grid that provides a guide to application of phi, 1.618 …, the golden proportion, to cosmetic dental aesthetics. The program provides a transparent overlay to any digital image on your PC’s screen, which for dental applications is generally a digital photo of the frontal view of a patient’s teeth, mouth, lips and tip of the nose. The overlay incorporates the proportions and principles Dr. Eddy Levin, whose work is compulsory study in many American Dental Schools and is applied in dental cosmetics and surgeries. PhiBar – A free program by Michael Semprevivo which applies phi relationships to the spectrum of colors in visible light. Colors in the spectrum that are related by distances based on phi or the golden section produce very rich and visually appealing combinations.  See the Colors page for details.

Golden Rectangular Solid – The 3D analogue to the 2D golden rectangle spiral is depicted by this application.  You can rotate a golden rectangle in 3D and use 3D glasses to see the effect.
