The human face abounds with examples of the Golden Ratio, also known as the Golden Section or Divine Proportion. It is often said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Evidence shows though that the closer facial proportions are to the golden ratio, the more a face will be perceived as attractive, across race, culture or era.
