June 6, 2012 by Gary Meisner 7 Comments

Achieve excellence in whatever you do!

The Golden Ratio, the phi relationship, has long been used by craftsmen and professionals of many fields to understand and achieve beauty, balance and harmony in their work.  Artists, architects, designers, engineers, musicians, photographers, sculptors, surgeons and stock analysts alike use this relationship to achieve excellence in their results.

Applying phi, the golden mean, in fashion design Exploring phi, the golden ratio, in stock market technical analysis Unveiling phi, the golden proportion, in nature

The Golden Mean Gauge expands and contracts in a perfect phi, or golden ratio, proportionGolden Mean Gauges make it easy to see and apply Phi

The study and application of the golden section is much easier with the golden mean gauges offered on this page.  Put your ruler and calculator away and let the phi relationships just jump out at you as you work or play with these fine instruments.  Originally invented by a doctor for applications in dentistry, these gauges can bring your work to a new level in any field.

Very interesting. How exactly would one apply this to predicting the stock market? Or is that one of its potential functions?

There’s an illustration of the application of golden mean gauges for this purpose on the stock market analysis page. You can also use PhiMatrix golden ratio software if you are working with digital images instead.

You for SURE can’t use the “golden ratio”, or any other tool to predict the stock market.

No credible person claims that you can predict the stock market. The claim is that the stock market does follow certain patterns in its movements and that by using multiple analytic tools in combination you can improve your success rate in making profitable trades. While there is a random element to the movements of the stock market, someone who has studied the markets and learned to apply such tools is going to have better results than someone who bases their buy/sell decisions on no analysis at all or the flip of a coin.
